Arboretum Baumpark Thedinghausen

Over 70 tree genera and 450 species and varieties.

Right next to Schloss Erbhof Thedinghausen, the old Weser Renaissance manor house, there is a magnificent tree park with an impressive collection of rare tree species from Central Europe.

Over 71 tree species consisting of around 450 species and varieties are planted on an area of 11 hectares, including ginkgo trees and the primeval sequoia. The tree park changes its appearance again and again according to the four seasons, sometimes sprouting flowers, sometimes growing delicate green, sometimes the leaves turn bright colors. The tree park with its paths and insect hotel also has a near-natural children's playground with a boules court and offers opportunities for picnics.
