Circular hiking trail (10 km) in the golden village of Brokeloh.
The Hermann Löns hiking trail in and around the golden village of Brokeloh covers a length of 10 kilometers and includes points of interest such as the "Löns Beech Trees" (natural monument), various erratic blocks, the "Old Brokeloh Mill", the "Münchhausen Castle/Brokeloh Manor" and the "Tempelberg" viewpoint.
The circular route leads along paths of varying quality, with sand and gravel paths predominating. There are also sections that include tarred farm tracks or just paths through heathland, fields and forests. The Bickbeernhof is a suitable starting and finishing point.
In his book "Auf heimlischer Pirsch", report "Zwischen Meer und Moor", the heathland poet Hermann Löns describes one of his visits to Brokeloh. The village was awarded a gold medal in the national competition "Our village should become more beautiful". Brokeloh won a silver medal in the European "Entente florale" competition.
