Märchenwald im Pfarrbusch

The "Pfarrbusch" forest area is an extensive wooded area in the immediate vicinity of the village.

The "Langhorst-Kuhlengraben" (Beeke) with its "Klappermühle" meanders leisurely through the idyllic Pfarrbusch with its old deciduous forest stands. A place to relax and unwind. The "fairytale forest" is also worth a visit for younger guests. Some of the hiking trails leading through the Pfarrbusch are lined with figures/representations from German fairy tales.

There are signposted tours of varying lengths for hiking enthusiasts. The "Pfarrbusch" offers exercise enthusiasts a fitness trail. Fitness can be tested over a length of 2.15 km. There is also a "forest nature trail".
There is also a pavilion and the so-called "Murderer's Stone" in the Pfarrbusch. The story of a man who once killed his wife on this spot in 1830 is engraved on the murder stone.
