Memorial in memory of the fallen soldiers from the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/1871

Design: Hinrich Meislahn
The lower part of the memorial bears the names of the fallen soldiers.
The memorial previously stood on the busy Bahnhofstraße. As a horse and cart ran into it and the horses had to be slaughtered, the local council decided to move the memorial to Achim Town Hall Park.
