Go on a treasure hunt! We have created six short circular cycle routes, none longer than 20 km.
These are unmarked, leisurely tours that lead through our beautiful, varied landscape. Of course, if you want to discover something in nature, you have to venture out into it. And so many of the trails are also close to nature: there may be the odd mullerian spot. Or a tractor has just driven past. After all, you share these paths with our farmers, foresters and horse riders.
But if you take the path - sorry, the six paths - you will discover many beautiful things. What are you waiting for? By the way, you can easily reach five of the six trails with the Regio S-Bahn.
Tour 4:
Langwedel station is also the starting point here. Cycle a short distance along Langwedeler Bahnhofstraße, turn left to Häuslingshaus and Burgbad. Cycle along Große Strasse, turn left at Goldbach into the wide Wesermarsch, past the Spiridonstein. At the next but one junction, keep left, turn right into Eisseler Straße and cycle left through the Radewiesen towards Dauelser Bruch. Here you will come across a small alder floodplain forest. Forests like this are very rare nowadays; it is damp and cool here even in the hottest summer.
Keep left and after a short distance you will come to the mill pond, created by sand mining. It has since developed into an idyllic spot. Turn right over the railroad and turn off towards Förth. On your right is the "American Line", which was once used by emigrants from the poor eastern provinces to Bremen and Bremerhaven. Refugee families were settled in Förth after the Second World War, which can still be seen today; there is also an information board here. From Nindorf, take the forest path along the "American line".
In Dauelsen, turn left and cross the highway to Holtebüttel. The open-air theater is somewhat hidden here. In the "Nassen Straße" you can look at Christmas trees all year round. You finally return to Langwedel via Dahlbrügge.
The Langwedel Treasure Hunt Tour 4 can also be found at Komoot.
