    The two Wall fragments are from the Berlin-Staaken border crossing.

    They were donated to the town of Nienburg/Weser and handed over to the public on May 8, 1992. The fragments symbolize the fall of the Berlin Wall on 9 November 1989 and the growing together of the people in the formerly divided Germany.
